Welcome to the Shoot Aviation office and Ops room! We’re based at White Waltham, an original WW2 airfield in the beautiful Berkshire countryside, just 25 miles from London and a 20 minute drive from LHR.
At 420 acres White Waltham is the largest grass airfield in Europe. During wartime it was the home of the ATA where the famous women pilots would deliver aircraft from the factories to their new squadrons. Our office and hangars are all real wartime buildings. After the war Prince Philip kept an aircraft in our hangar and used our office to get changed, very neatly replicated by The Crown in Series 1!
Smaller Productions use the office for Green Room / Changing / Make Up / Loos and Kitchen while the bigger Productions appreciate the expanse of tarmac outside our door for their Unit Base. Having said that several big names have chosen to abadoned their trailers in exchange for a cuppa in our comfy armchairs beside a real log fire!
So if you’re prepping for the next big block buster, a modest bit of TV, or you just fancy talking aviation waffle then please pop over, the kettle is always on. We look forward to welcoming you.

Great episode of Danny Boyle’s “Trust” this evening. Happy memories of summer days and open cockpit biplanes! https://t.co/TK4rG6QHun19th September 2018
Had those awfully nice @RAFBBMF chaps in for a fish and chip lunch. Always an absolute pleasure. On slot, as briefed, at 13:55, ketchup on at :56, off slot at 14:15. Immediately followed by the Shoot Aviation formation washing up display team. Superb stuff.. https://t.co/gXR1hOE2gF15th September 2018
So, we’ve been thinking of you again. A 5m, 5 row section of modern airliner cabin built into an easy to move trailer. All prelit with a choice of seating. Matches exactly our larger full sets. Great for a cheeky shot on location or bounce it for that violent turbulence scene.. https://t.co/ayPXbLyV7Z6th September 2018

Filming on/in/around Airliners. The most common request we receive is that of a production wishing to film inside an airliner. Be that…
Shoot aviation are a great team. They really get what I want – without over complicating or charging outrageous money…
They can get me any aircraft, mockup or set that I need – no matter how rediculous the request…
